It's a really fantastic veterinary clinic. One of the best I've ever been to! Unfortunately my reason for the visit on December 4th was to put my dog to sleep due to health issues 💔 Dr. Heidi is an absolute sweetheart and the whole staff there is absolutely amazing and full of wonderful people! They have true care and compassion here at Alpine! I hope my next visit will be for a more happy reason.

I’ve been taking my dog here for a few years and they are wonderful. I had Dr. McKelvie today. Her and the vet assistants that helped were awesome. They even helped with clipping my dogs nails and addressed all of the concerns I had about him. I am always surprised with how inexpensive the total comes to for how awesome the service is there. I also got my dog neutered there a few years ago and they took amazing care of him. Definitely recommend going here!!

Kind, consistent care. Reasonable rates. All the staff is professional and responsive. I particularly appreciate the office staff, many of whom have been there for years. They don't have an easy job and they are always upbeat, patient, and compassionate.

Alicia and Dr. Heidi have been an incredible support for our dog. Since our move to a more remote area, they’ve continued to help us navigate his care from afar, offering advice we trust and even mailing necessary medications. Their deep knowledge of his needs has been invaluable, and we’re so grateful for their ongoing care during this transition.

The absolute best there is!!! So happy I switched several years ago to Alpine Veterinary Care… I have been with them since 2018, and they have been so compassionate when my Cat was sick with bladder stones, and with my Dog’s heart condition. The receptionists and assistants always take the extra time to explain things to me, to make recommendations, and to get things done and scheduled in a timely manner. Alpine staff also were amazing with us when we have had to put down our three remaining family animals there; once in 2021, once in 2022, and again earlier this year. Dr. Carmen Coots, thank you so much for all that you do for the Johnson family! We love and appreciate you and your staff so very much!

Dr. Lindsey was very nice, compassionate and got us in and out pretty quickly. I was impressed that I got a call before our initial appointment for a cancellation spot that worked better with my schedule anyway. The only thing I would have to say that wasn't stellar was the gal I made my appointment with initially didn't seem to listen to what I was saying when she asked me questions, so I ended up having to repeat myself on a few pieces of information.

Amazing vets! They truly care about your pets and treat them like their own! I brought my toy poodle in with severe symptoms and they very quickly assessed her tummy bug and she got better within 12 hours!

We take our pets to Alpine Vet Care because it’s close to our home, and overall it is a solid place. That said, Dr. Heidi Hagen truly elevates the entire experience. She is incredibly thorough, patient, and has such a calm, compassionate bedside manner with both animals and their humans. One of our dogs has been in quite a few times since we adopted her, and having a pet with ongoing needs can be really stressful and emotional. We love our critters so much (I cry every time they’re hurt, uncomfortable, or sick), so knowing we can see a doctor we genuinely trust means the world to us. Dr. Hagen never makes us feel rushed or dismissed…she listens, explains things clearly, and helps us feel a little less anxious every time. Dr. Hagen is also wonderful about follow-up communication and always sets clear expectations for when we’ll hear back. The front desk team deserves recognition too. They’re responsive and timely with emails, which we really appreciate. A big thank you as well to the vet techs as well. They are timely with rooming us, gathering information, and they regularly help express one of our dog’s glands to keep her comfortable. We truly appreciate how kind, capable, and gentle they are. I can’t really speak to pricing since I don’t have much to compare it to, but in terms of care, compassion, and communication, we’ve been very grateful. Highly recommend Dr. Hagen specifically.
